1. Introduction

Welcome to Scorepify, herein after referred to as Our platform or The Platform. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using the platform.

2. User Responsibilities

2.1. Copyright Compliance: Users are solely responsible for ensuring that all scores uploaded to the platform comply with copyright laws. By uploading scores, you affirm that you either own the copyright or have obtained permission from the copyright holder to share the material.

2.2. Accuracy of Information: Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration and while using the platform.

3. Uploading Scores

3.1. Approval Criteria: All uploaded scores will be reviewed and approved based on the following criteria:

• The uploaded score must not already exist on the platform.
• The score must be a clear PDF file.
• In cases where multiple users upload the same score, the first submission meeting all criteria will be approved, and the rest will be rejected.
• A score that exists on the platform may be approved if it features a different notation format (e.g., staff vs. solfa).

3.2. Rejections: Scores that do not meet the approval criteria will be rejected. Users will be notified of the decision and the reason for rejection.

4. Incentives for Uploading Scores

4.1. Users are eligible for financial incentives for uploading scores. For every ten (10) approved scores, users will earn NGN500.

4.2. Incentive payouts can be requested once the user's wallet balance reaches the specified threshold.

4.3. The platform reserves the right to adjust the incentive program terms as needed, with or without prior notice to users.

5. Donations

5.1. To maintain and update the platform for free user access, we encourage donations. Contributions will help support operational costs and future enhancements. Donations are entirely voluntary and non-refundable.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1. The platform retains ownership of its name, logo, design, and all other related intellectual property.

6.2. Users retain ownership of the scores they upload but grant the platform a perpetual, non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and promote the content.

7. User Conduct

7.1. Users must use the platform responsibly and must not:

• Upload malicious or harmful files.
• Engage in activities that violate laws or infringe upon the rights of others.
• Attempt to bypass the approval system or manipulate the platform’s functionality.

8. Liability

8.1. The platform is not liable for copyright violations or other legal issues arising from user-uploaded content.

8.2. The platform is provided "as is" without any warranties. We are not liable for interruptions, errors, or data losses.

9. Privacy Policy

9.1. User data will be collected, stored, and processed in compliance with applicable privacy laws. For details, refer to our Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to the Terms

10.1. The platform reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to users through the site or email.

11. Termination

11.1. The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account for violations of these Terms and Conditions or for activities deemed harmful to the platform or its community.

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1. Any disputes arising from the use of the platform will be resolved through amicable discussions. If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of the platform’s operational jurisdiction.
